Option 1: Hourly Rate

Pay By the Hour
Our hourly rate is broken down into two categories: Strategic & Creative Services and Ongoing Maintenance. 

​Hourly Rates

• $125 per hour for strategic and creative services including market research, market development, project planning, project management, campaign, survey or web site development and execution, project presentations, evaluation and reporting. 
• $75/hour for ongoing maintenance of projects, reporting and content updates.
• There is a two month minimum for hourly projects.

Those Who Choose Hourly
Hourly rates are most common with new clients and clients who have a variety of initiatives to be completed in any given month. They want the flexibility to increase the project scope and/or the ability to change the original scope of work based on shifting priorities.

Option 2: Time-Based Retainer

Pay for a Set Number of Hours Each Month
Time-based retainers are most popular with clients who have a set budget and want predictability and flexibility. Time-based retainers are offered at two price points depending on the length of the retainer. Most of our clients start month-to-month initially then switch to a longer term retainer after an initial "test project" has been completed.

Short-Term Retainer
One- to five-month, time-based retainers are based on a consulting fee of $125 per hour. Short-term retainers are ideal for quick turn projects with clearly defined goals. Listed below are our most popular time-based retainer packages.

One to Five Month Retainers*

• 40 hours per month = $5000
• 50 hours per month = $6250
• 60 hours per month = $7500
• Billed at the start of each month

Mid- to Long-Term Retainer
Six month to one year, time-based retainers are offered at a reduced rate of $100 per hour. Mid- to long-term projects are ideal for organizations who have several projects they wish to implement sequentially or a large initiative that must be built from the ground up. Six month to one year projects are discounted due to the longer contract term, not due to the type of project.

• 40 hours per month = $4000
• 50 hours per month = $5000
• 60 hours per month = $6000
• Billed at the start of each month

Those Who Choose Time-Based Retainers
Clients who choose time-based retainers often know what they want to do, but don't have the time to manage it or the resources to get it done in the timeframe they want. They like the idea of a clearly defined plan on a set budget managed by a team that is completely focused on getting their specific project done. 

*Anticipated changes to workload are discussed with client. A limited number of hours can be applied to a future month or used from a future month's allotted hours.

Option 3: Outcome-Based Retainer

Pay for Certain Deliverables Each Month
​Deliverable-based retainers are perfect for clients who have a set budget and know exactly what they want to get done each month. Deliverable-based retainers are purchased in 3 month increments so there is the option to change deliverables more frequently. At the beginning of each new term, an agreed upon list of deliverables are set for the following 3 months. 

Pricing for deliverable-based services are based on amount of time needed to complete the assigned workload each month. Since projects will vary by client, we will provide a quote for the work once the project scope has been outlined.

Those Who Choose Deliverable-Based Retainers
Clients who choose deliverable-based retainers typically have a marketing plan in place and just need to execute on it. They have a set monthly budget and know how many surveys they want to get out, blogs to be written, email campaigns to be sent, presentations to be created and/or social media messages to be posted.
